Enrollment Intro

SHBP Members may enroll and/or make coverage changes based on their membership status, as follows:

New Hires or Newly Eligible Employees during their Initial Enrollment Period;
Active Members, Former Employees enrolled in State Extended Coverage, and COBRA Participants during Open Enrollment (OE); and
Retirees during the Retiree Option Change Period (ROCP).

Additionally, Life Changes resulting in a Qualifying Event or Special Enrollment Event also present opportunities to enroll and/or make coverage changes.
